Yesterday at 10:00AM PST Steve Jobs made one of the most anticipated announcements in Apple history: the iPad. One can compare it with a large version of the iPod Touch due to its functionality and looks. Also it syncs with your iPhone and can serve as an external screen for your handset.

Here's what you have to know regarding its specs:

0.5″ thick and 1.5lbs light;
9.7″ IPS display, capacitive multitouch touchscreen;
Built-in accelerometer, mic, 30-pin connector, 802.11n Wi-Fi, compass, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR;
10 hours of battery life and one month standby time!;
1GHz Apple A4 processor;
16GB, 32GB and 64GB Flash storage

Personally, I think the device is useless.

Icoo has launched its latest portable media player, the M100HDC. It supports a multitude of video formats, including MKV, MOV, RMVB, RM, AVI(DivX/XviD/H.264), PMP, DAT, FLV, VOB, MP4, MPG and 3GP. And if you hate watching videos on its 4.8" display, you can always plug the player to your TV via the TV-out port.

No word on pricing or availability yet.

Sony NWZ-A845 Walkman PMP
