Twinhead, also known as GammaTech in the U.S., presents a decent alternative to giants like the Asus EeePc and the Everex Cloudbook. The new UMPC is called C8 and has the follownng specifications:
8" 1024 x 600 resolution display;
AMD LC-800 processor;
1GB of RAM;
1.8" 20GB hard drive;
Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Ethernet;
two USB ports;
VGA out;
4-in1 card reader.
As expected, this one won't be available stateside, nevertheless we hope to see a similar device to appear in the U.S. under a different name and GammaTech branding in the near future. Currently you can get the C8 model in the South East Asia, namely in Malaysia for about $560 and in Singapore (soon) for approximately $507.
