iSonic Myvu Crystal 701 & Shade 301 Video Glasses released in JapanThough these may look like glasses, they are actually wearable video displays from iSonic designed for viewing videos on the iPod classic/Touch/Nano/ iPhone.
There are two models available now in Japan:
- Myvu Crystal 701 displays a 37" image in 640 x 480 resolution, and includes an RC unit, USB port, and a detachable dock connector cable. Available in Black or Umber color for €280.
- Myvu Shade 301 (in pic) has the same features as the former, but offers a smaller 27" image in 320x240 resolution. The price is €200.

OCZ's New "Truly Affordable" SATA II 2.5'' SSDOCZ Technology presented its new SATA II 2.5" SSD, which as they claim is "the world’s first truly affordable" high-performance Solid State Drive. Its reading speed is 120-143 MB/s, writing speed - 80-93MB/s, and lifetime is around 1.5 million hours.
There are three capacity versions available (32GB, 64GB, and 128GB) with prices ranging from 100 to 300 Euros.

Portable Devices : New Twinhead C8 UMPC
 
New Twinhead C8 UMPCTwinhead, also known as GammaTech in the U.S., presents a decent alternative to giants like the Asus EeePc and the Everex Cloudbook. The new UMPC is called C8 and has the follownng specifications:

8" 1024 x 600 resolution display;
AMD LC-800 processor;
1GB of RAM;
1.8" 20GB hard drive;
Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Ethernet;
two USB ports;
VGA out;
4-in1 card reader.

As expected, this one won't be available stateside, nevertheless we hope to see a similar device to appear in the U.S. under a different name and GammaTech branding in the near future. Currently you can get the C8 model in the South East Asia, namely in Malaysia for about $560 and in Singapore (soon) for approximately $507.
