Portable Devices: Fujitsu LifeBook U2010 Tablet with 3.5G Support
Introducing the Fujitsu LifeBook U2010, a new ultra-portable convertible tablet PC with integrated 3.5G support. It has just debuted in Singapore, Hong Kong and Philippines, and likely will be available by the end of the year in the Asia Pacific region. The U.S. U820 model is scheduled for Q1 2009. No pricing details have been announced yet. Features include:

Samsung has put its 256GB SSD into mass production. The new model provides read/write speeds of 220MB/s and 200MB/s, respectively, which makes it faster than the previous 128GB version.
If you don't count your money, and 128GB is just not enough for you, wait a bit longer and you'll get what you exactly need.
This is the new Inkel WPI-8000, a Wi-Fi phone introduced today in Korea. It comes with a 1.8” TFT display, supports Wi-Fi b/g, VoIP, SMS is based on a SoC (System On Chip), which allows Inkel to put it in a slim package. The phone also has some basic in-built contact features, including the ability to store up to 500 contacts.
Elecom has unveiled its two new Solid State Drives yesterday, the ESD-I2SA & ESD-E2U2. Both should be released in the end of November. The ESD-12SA is an internal 2.5" SSD that comes in 32GB / 64GB / 128GB versions. It provides a reading speed of 150MB/s and a writing speed of 90MB/s. Prices range between 14,800 Yen (115€) and 44,800 Yen (355€). The ESD-E2U2 is a 3.5" external SSD that provides a reading speed of 30MB/s and a writing speed of 10MB/s. The 64GB version costs 29,800 Yen and the128GB one is available for 44,800 Yen.
According to some unofficial sources, Mac Mini was discontinued today, and probably will no longer be shipped to retailers. Unfortunately, the Mini sales were very poor, and now it’s either getting an upgrade or is canceled entirely. :(
SanDisk is apparently working on its future 128GB microSDHC cards, which it will start producing in 2011. Nice, let's just hope we'll see those sooner, as many of us simply can't have enough space in their portable digital gadget. :)
Check out this new 3D webcam from Japan called Minoru 3D. It has two lenses (like two eyes) and creates a mixed image, which can be viewed in 3D through stereo glasses. Without the glasses watching videos taken with this webcam is pointless, as the image will be blurry. If you're ready to buy one, the Minoru 3D will be available in December for less than $100.
Portable Devices: Sony PRS-700 eBook Reader with a Touch-Sensitive Panel
Check out the Sony PRS-700, a new eBook Reader with a 6" interactive touchscreen display that allows for page flipping with a simple swiping motion. It can stopre up to 350 eBooks, and comes with an SD / MS-Duo card slot, a stylus, and an on screen keyboard.
The device will be available in stores next month for $400 (285€).
Buffalo's MicroStation is a new USB-powered external SSD drive. These drives are available in 32, 64 and 100GB storage capacities, have a shock resistant body, and deliver data transfer speeds of up to 35 MBps.
