The new Samsung Q1UP-XP Ultra Premium UMPC has just been presented at CES. The device is targeted at "both commercial markets and individuals looking for an ultra-portable solution without the compromise in power and features". Here's a detailed list of specifications:

OQO has recently presented an updated version of their model 02 UMPC at CES, which is already available for purchase. They claim that it is WiMax-certified and comes with a 64GB SSD and a "Sunlght Optimazed display", which should provide 50% better viewing in direct sunlight. Well, everething is cool except that they could have integrated HSDPA support instead of WiMax...

Sony's second generation Mylo 2 PDA has been recently spoted in the Web. We know it has Wi-Fi... and besides that we know nothing else about the device. Lets just hope it will be more powerful and multifunctional than the Nokia N800/N810, and, most importantly, affordable.

OQO E2 is a new HSDPA-enabled UMPC for European and Asian markets. The device has a slide-out keyboard and weighs about 1.1 pounds. Features include a 1.6GHz VIA CPU, 1GB RAM, 120GB HDD, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and Windows Vista as the OS. The approximate price is $2,240.

The guy's from BGR made a small review on the WiBrain B1 UMPC and gave it a high mark. Check the VIA link for more details. We will just specify its features.

Chinese manufacturer OGO has released its new PDA, pretty similar to the Sidekick. The device supports quad-band GSM networks, and has a large 2.8" display, a full QWERTY keyboard (in Chinese), 50MB of internal memory, microSD card slot (up to 2GB), mini USB port, and more. OGO will only be available in China and Taiwan.

Sony has added a new device to their UX line of UMPCs, the UX490. It comes with several new upgrades over the previous models, which include:

- Windows Vista Business OS
- Intel Core 2 Solo CPU at 1.2GHz
- 48GB SSD (probably that's why the device is so expensive)
- Bluetooth GPS receiver (included)
- EDGE connectivity (Wi-Fi or 3G would be much more likely)

The device is quite pricey. It costs $2,499 and will be available starting next week.

The new MOTOROKR T505 is an “In-Car Speakerphone and Digital FM Transmitter” for hands free calling and wireless music enjoyment. It provides outstanding sound quality and offers a couple of cool features, such as StationFinder, which automaticly searches for the best FM connection on the car radio, and the audible CallerID function that will prevent drivers from distracting their attention from the road.
The T505 should be available in Q1 2008, but the price is yet unknown.
