Check out the new
Roper Mobile Duros 8404. It's a rugged tablet PC capable of withstanding temperatures from -20C to 50C (from -4F to 122F), and hard drops from 1.2m (4 feet) height. It doesn't include shock protection, though. Other features are as follows:
- 8.4" touchscreen display at 800 x 600 resolution (readable under direct sunlight);
- 500MHz AMD Geode LX 800/1.0GHz Intel Celeron M processors;
- Shock, dust and water-resistant;
- Hot swappable battery;
- SSD or hard drive options;
- 256MB/512MB/1GB RAM options;
- Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity
