Aiptek PenCam HD Trio is a new mini-camcoder, capable of recording videos in 720p (HD) at 30fps. It will be available in a choice of 5 colors, including silver, black, blue, red and purple, and will have the following features:

• 5Mpix lens;
• 4GB of internal memory;
• Direct-to-YouTube upload;

Philips has announced it's next flagship portable media player, called the GoGear Muse. It looks rather similar to the more affordable GoGear Aria, but sports higher-end specifications. Currently there's no word on availability in the US, but the Philips GoGear Muse is already available in Singapore for $233.55.

Dell has launched a new series of full-featured laptops called the Inspiron Z. The new family will offer enhanced portability combined with high end features. The first two models in line are the Inspiron 14z and Inspiron 15z, available now for $599 upwards.

Chinese manufacturer Sinchun has released a new UMPC, called the UMPC-501 A. The device is very portable measuring at 160 x 95 x 22 mm, and weighing in just 350 grams, and offers the following features:

• Windows XP Home;
• 1GB RAM;
• 8GB to 32GB SSD;
• Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity;

It will cost approx. $441 when it hits the stores mid-September.
