Nextar's new frog-shaped "Ribbit" MP3 player will probably be a hit at this year's CES show. :) It looks nice and original, offers 4GB of storage space and an OLED screen, and costs just $25.

Korean manufacturer Maxian has introduced its new PMP called Maxian M1 EDU. It should be noted that it comes with a dual core processor, allowing for the smoothest video playback possible. Other features include:

- Windows CE 5.0
- 8GB/16GB of storage
- 3.5" touchscreen
- Digital TV support
- Integrated FM radio
- Compatible with MPEG1 to 4, WMV, AVI, MP3 and WMA files
- SD memory card slot
- Built-in dictionaries

No word on pricing and availability yet.

The new E-Matic MP3 Player is probably the first DAP to feature an embedded camera. In rest, it is a simple affordable PMP with ordinary specifications.
Here's what it offers:

- 2Mpix camera with video recording capability;
- 2.4" color screen;
- 4GB of memory;
- The ability to share multimedia content;
- microSD slot

The price is just $60.

Digital Cube has recently added the new iStation T5 to its lineup of PMPs. The device comes in two models of 8GB or 16GB, and features a 4.8" screen with 800 x 480 resolution, a 3D interface and runs on an Nvidia Tegra graphics chipset.  Furthermore, the player has a built-in FM tuner, e-dictionary, SDHC memory slot, and HSDPA cell phone connection. Pricing and availability details are yet unknown.

The new Cowon O2 PMP will be available on November 13 in Japan. The prices are 350€ for the 32GB version, 280€ for the 16GB version, and 240€ for the 8GB model.

Two months after it's announcement, the Samsung Q1 (YP-Q19) PMP has been finally released in Korea. It comes in 4, 8, or 16GB versions, has a 2.4” QVGA screen, and DNSe 3.0 with sound upscaling for improved audio quality. No word on the possible availability in the other markets yet.
