Haier has introduced a new media player in its
Ibiza lineup. The new
Ibiza Theatre is a cheaper touchscreen-based alternative to iPod, though it lacks the Wi-Fi function, which is a "must" nowadays. It will be available in 8GB and 16GB options, retailing for $110 and $130, respectively. The release date wasn't announced, though.
Features include:
- 2.4" 320 x 240 resolution display;
- Bluetooth connectivity;
- Integrated FM tuner;
- microSD memory card slot;
- Support for Real's Rhapsody to Go service;
- Audible, MP3 and WMA audio support;
- AVI and MPEG-4 video support;
- Up to 30-hours of battery life for audio playback
