Icoo has launched its latest portable media player, the M100HDC. It supports a multitude of video formats, including MKV, MOV, RMVB, RM, AVI(DivX/XviD/H.264), PMP, DAT, FLV, VOB, MP4, MPG and 3GP. And if you hate watching videos on its 4.8" display, you can always plug the player to your TV via the TV-out port. No word on pricing or availability yet. |

 Starting later this month Covon will be releasing its latest PMP, the iAudio 9, in Japan, Europe and the U.S. Below you see a list of its specifications and pricing details. Specs:2" 320 x 240 LCD TFT display;
- 8GB/16GB of internal memory;
- WMV, AVI and DivX video, together with broad audio file compatibility;
- DSP technology: JetEffect 3.0 and BBE+;
- FM tuner;
- Built-in microphone;
- TV output;
- 8.9mm thick, 40g;
- Colors: white, silver, black and red
Pricing:
- Japan: 14,800 yen ($161) for the 8GB model, and 17,800 yen ($194) for the 16GB model
- EU: about 180 Euros for the 16GB model
- USA: $170 for the 16GB model

Philips has announced it's next flagship portable media player, called the GoGear Muse. It looks rather similar to the more affordable GoGear Aria, but sports higher-end specifications. Currently there's no word on availability in the US, but the Philips GoGear Muse is already available in Singapore for $233.55. Some features:
- 3" display;
- File support: BMP, GIF, PNG, Ogg Vorbis, APE, Real Video, and Real Audio formats;
- Included in-ear headphones with active noise cancelling;
- Battery: 25 hours of audio playback, 5 hours of non-stop video playback
