The Latitude E6400 XFR is a new rugged notebook from Dell. It complies with the DoD's MIL-STD 810F standard for heat, dust and vibration, not to mention its thick magnesium alloy casing that doubles the impact protection. The pricing for E6400 XFR starts from $4,299 upwards.
Dell has just released a Special Edition of its 15.4" Studio line of laptops. Enhancements over the standard edition are a higher resolution LED-backlit display and a Black Vapor exterior paint scheme. Prices will depend on the chosen configuration, but all models include some common features. Here they are:
Intel Pentium Dual Core 2GHz CPU;
Intel's integrated 4500MHD GPU;
15.4" 1,440 x 900 LED-backlit display;
3-4GB RAM;
250GB to 320GB HDD
The Special Edition Studio 15s is available for $799, $849 and $949. Standard editions are still sold at $599 to $849.
Laptops: Toshiba Portégé M750 Tablet PC series Updated
Toshiba has unveiled three new models in their Port?g? Tablet PC line, the Toshiba Port?g? M750-S7211, Port?g? M750-S7212 and Port?g? M750-S7213. They’re priced at $1,279, $1,699 and $1,799 respectively.
Check out this new powerful ruggedized 15" dual-screen laptop - the gScreen TITAN M-1, created for the US Navy. It will be released this February 25th, butthe price is unknown yet. However, expect it to be nowhere near the "affordable".

The Asus N81Vg is a new high-end laptop targeted at performance-loving users. It's not a gaming notebook, but it can easily handle new games. There was no word on pricing or availability, but don't expect it will be easy on your wallet.
