Samsung has recently announced its latest netbook with model number N120. It's features are mostly common with those of the other similar models (N110, N310), and include:

• 10.1" display;
• Intel Atom CPU @ 1.6Ghz;
• 10.5hrs runtime from the 6-cell battery pack;
• 160GB HDD;
• 1GB of RAM;
• 1.3Mpix webcam;
• Wi-Fi;
• Bluetooth 2.0;
• Full size anti-bacterial keyboard;
• three USB 2.0 ports;
• 3-in-1 memory card reader;
• 1.28kg weight (including battery);
• 1.5W speakers and a subwoofer

No pricing has been revealed so far, but the Samsung N120 will be available in April in most of the markets around the world.

Just another laptop by Mouse Computer called the Nextgear-Note M350W. Its features include:

• 18.4” LCD Full HD LCD;
• Core 2 Duo CPU (P8600 or T9550);
• 4GB of RAM;
• 320 or 500GB HDD;
• DVD Multi or Blu-ray burner;
• NVIDIA GeForce 9100M / 9600M GS Hybrid SLI with 512MB of VRAM

The price varies between 119,700 Yen (€900 to 149,000 Yen (€1130), depending on the configuration.

Computer Shopper came up with a review of the powerful Asus W90Vp-X1 18.4" laptop, saying it "raises the bar for all comers." Basically, it's a $2200 worth portable desktop with a "beautiful HD display, a powerful audio system, and an easy-to-use overclocking utility". I must say, for that kind of cash one could just build an uber-powerful desktop rig, as that would be a more reasonable purchase, especially for gamers.

Yesterday Taiwanese-based manufacturer Shuttle announced a new netbook called X50. Its features are pretty standard, including a 15.6” 1366x768 touchscreen, Atom A330 CPU, 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB HDD.

 

It should be going for around $500 when it's released.

Benq Japan has launched its two latest AMD Yukon powered all-in-one desktops, the nScreen i91 and nScreen i221. As you see, specifications are far from impressive, and you'll also have to connect an external CD/DVD player to play DVDs...

The new Sotec C103 appears to be yet another rival to the Asus EeePC. Well, specifications aren't bad, but they could have at least added a few more colors besides the boring black and white.

Dospara Prime Note Beatribe I is a nice alternative to any Netbook on the market. Specifications, as you see, are pretty decent:

The price is about €630 in Japan, and we don't think it will be available anywhere else.

 

Following the recent release of its VX600 notabook, MSI has unveiled a new model, the MSI VR430. Features are as follows:

No word on pricing or availability as of yet.

The new Getac V100 is a extra-rugged convertible Tablet PC designed for outdoor workers, who work in harsh environments and in bright light conditions. The device fully meets the MIL-STD 810F and IP54 standards, and can work around 4hrs with the display on minimum, which is still brighter than most notebooks can stretch to.

Some of the features include:

• Bright outdoor-viewable display;
• 1.2GHz Intel ULV processor;
• up to 2GB of RAM (1GB in the tested config);
• 120GB removable hard-drive

The price is $3,550.

Averatec Star is a new notebook from TG Sambo that has just been released in South Korea. It comes in an 'eco & slim' design, complete with silver-colored aluminum finish and a built-in battery pack, and has the following specifications:

• Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4GHz CPU;
• 3GB of RAM;
• 320GB SATA hard drive;
• 13.1" widescreen LCD display;
• Intel GMA X4500MHD integrated graphics;
• Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Ethernet LAN connectivity;
• VGA output, 3x USB 2.0;
• Built-in 1.3Mpix camera

The price is unknown at the moment.
