Gateway has introduced a new WiMAX-enabled notebook called NV59C66U. It is available in 15.6" and 17" sizes, and features an integrated Intel 6250 WiMAX card, an Intel or AMD processor at your choice, up to 8GB RAM, as well as a maximum 500GB HDD stored inside. Connectivity options include 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet LAN.

The WiMAX model will cost $699.99 upwards depending on the configuration.

Fujitsu has unveiled its latest 10-inch mini notebook, called the Lifebook T580. It features a swivel display, allowing the device to be converted into a tablet, complete with multi-touch functionality, and has the following specifications:

• 10" multi-touch display;
• Intel Core i5 processor;
• 3G support;
• GPS;
• Windows 7 Professional OS;
• Ambient light sensor;
• Weighs 3.1 pounds;
• Up to 8 hours of battery life

Pricing wasn't announced.

A Wi-Fi version of the Toshiba's AC100 Android-powered netbook is currently up for order in the UK, while the 3G model is still in development. The device costs ?293 ($451), and offers the following features:

• NVIDIA dual-core Tegra 250 chip;
• 512MB of RAM;
• Up to 8-hours of battery life;
• 1.3Mpix camera;
• Wi-Fi;

Acer has started selling its new Aspire One D255 netbook which is the first model in the series to hit the US. The netbook is available at HSN.com (Home Shopping Network) and is going for $399 in a choice of four colors, icluding red, black, aquamarine and sandstone. Specwise it is very similar to other netbooks from other manufacturers, and features:

1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core processor;
1GB RAM;
250GB hard drive;
10.1" display at 1024 x 600;
Intel GMA 3150 graphics chipset;
Wi-Fi connectivity

Here's another pair of laptop models from Toshiba, this time with AMD CPU's and ATi crads on-board - the Satellite T100 series' T135D and T115D notebooks. Below we posted a list of key features for each model:

Toshiba announced a new laptop that offers great performance at a reasonable price, the Qosmio X505. Pricing ranges from $1,199.99 to $1,899.99, while features include:

• 320GB 7200RPM hard drive;
• 64GB SSD;
• Up to 8GB RAM

Acer has revealed its latest range of business ultraportables, the Acer TravelMate Timeline series.  The only difference between the models is their size: 13.3" for 8571, 14.1" for 8471, and 15.6" for 8371.

ASUS Eee PC netbooks family has been with two Pine Trail series models, namely the 1005P and 1005PE. Here's what they feature:
