MSI Wind U230 uses an AMD processor instead of Intel’s Atom. The device includes:
- AMD’s 1.6GHz Neo X2 MV40 processor;
- 12.1" 1366 x 768 chassis;
- AMD Radeon HD3200 graphics;
- Up to 4GB of RAM;
- 160GB, 250GB or 320GB hard-drives;
- Windows 7 Home Premium;
- Connectivity: HDMI, VGA, 3 x USB 2.0, ethernet and audio i/o, multiformat card reader;
- Wi-Fi b/g/n and optional Bluetooth;
- Battery: 3-cell pack (4 hours) or 6-cell pack
The expected price is somewhere around $400.
