Here's another pair of laptop models from Toshiba, this time with AMD CPU's and ATi crads on-board - the Satellite T100 series' T135D and T115D notebooks. Below we posted a list of key features for each model:

Toshiba announced a new laptop that offers great performance at a reasonable price, the Qosmio X505. Pricing ranges from $1,199.99 to $1,899.99, while features include:

• Intel Core i7-720QM and Core i5-430M CPU;
• NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M with 1GB DDR5 VRAM;
• 320GB 7200RPM hard drive;
• 64GB SSD;
• Up to 8GB RAM

Note that it's not light and portable, as many of you might of thought.

Acer has revealed its latest range of business ultraportables, the Acer TravelMate Timeline series.  The only difference between the models is their size: 13.3" for 8571, 14.1" for 8471, and 15.6" for 8371.

ASUS Eee PC netbooks family has been with two Pine Trail series models, namely the 1005P and 1005PE. Here's what they feature:

ASUS Eee PC 1005P:

• Intel 1.66GHz Atom N450 CPU;
• 10.1" display;
• 1GB of RAM;
• 3-cell battery;
• three USB 2.0 ports;

• Windows 7 Starter;

Sony's has recently introduced its latest Signature Collection of stylish notebooks called the Nebula FW Series. This limited edition series will start from $809.99 upwards, depending on the chosen configuration. Features include:Intel Core 2 Duo 3.06GHz processor;

• 16.4" display;
• Dolby Surround Sound capability;
• Blu-ray player;
• Windows 7 OS

Introducing a new netbook called the VNB103 from Viewsonic. It comes in an aluminum case, and offers the following features:

• Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor;
• 10.1” 1,024 ? 600 resolution display;
• 1GB RAM;
• 160GB hard drive;
• 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi connectivity;

The VNB103 is currently available only in China for about $424.

Unlike the majority of ultraportable laptops, the new MSI Wind U230 uses an AMD processor instead of Intel’s Atom. The device includes:

ASUS has announced its new UL lineup of laptops. They all boast a lightweight aluminum chassis, measure up to 1" in thickness, and are able to run up to 12 hours per charge.

15.6" models: UL50A, UL50Ag and UL50Vg. Powered by either 1.3GHz Core 2 Duo or 1.4GHz Core 2 Solo, Intel GMA 4500 graphics and up to 4GB of RAM.

14" models: UL80Ag and UL80V. Both feature the same specs as the UL50Ag and UL50Vg.

Low-end models: UL20A and UL30A, Small size, no ODD.
