Mitac Mio C523 v2 GPS Navigator

Mitac of Japan has launched its new Mio C523 V2, a small GPS navigator system meant for motorcycles. It offers the so called “rider mode” feature, which shows the next three turns on one screen to minimize the time spent looking at the screen.

Other features of the device include:

• 2GB internal memory;
• 4.3″ touch screen;
• 1seg digital TV tuner;
• Windows CE OS;
• SiRF Star GPS receiver;
• Samsung 2440 processor

The Mio C523 V2 will soon be available for ?44,800, or about US$448 in Japan.
