Sony has introduced a new GPS model for the Japanese market called
Sony NV-U3C. Like all the other Sony NV series devices it does split screen view, but unlike its US counterparts this model offers realistic street sign view, lane assistance, and a feature called PetaMap, which provides updates and sales info from local restaurants and stores. The device also features a 3.5" 4:3 QVGA screen, 4GB of internal memory, and offers three external colors to choose from: obnoxious pink, boring gray, and snow white.
