Clarion introduced two new portable GPS navigation systems at CeBIT trade show today: the
Clarion MAP 690 and
Clarion MAP 790. The first model will be delivered with local maps, while the other will come with maps of 44 European countries.
Common features include:
- 4.3" WQVGA touchscreen;
- SiRF III GPS receiver chip;
- Handsfree Bluetooth kit;
- 400 MHz processor;
- 2 GB built-in space;
- Text-to-speech;
- RDS/TMC receiver for traffic updates;
- iGO My Way 8 navigation software (shows certain buildings and monuments in 3D, altitudes, realistic looking road signs, and posted speed limits)
