Magellan RoadMate 1475T is a newly announced GPS navigator, which is basically an updated RoadMate 1470 with a traffic receiver. It costs $299 and offers the following features:

Kenwood HDV-909DT is a newly announced all-in-one GPS navigation system with almost everything you'll need while behind the wheel. The price is about €1,500, but apparently the device is a Japan exclusive...

Mitac of Japan has launched its new Mio C523 V2, a small GPS navigator system meant for motorcycles. It offers the so called “rider mode” feature, which shows the next three turns on one screen to minimize the time spent looking at the screen.

• 1seg digital TV tuner;
• Windows CE OS;
• SiRF Star GPS receiver;

The Mio C523 V2 will soon be available for ?44,800, or about US$448 in Japan.

NavTrac RTV10 is a new portable navigation device that features standard turn-by-turn guidance, GPS tracking, and a two-way messaging function. It's nice and all, but the price is just too much for a satnav device: $599 with a monthly subscrlption fee of $39.95.

The new ThinkNavi T7 is yet another Korean GPS device. It offers a huge 7" display which is perfect when it comes to navigation, and has the following features:

• SiRF II GPS chip;
• 500Mhz CPU;
• A/V-in port;
• USB 2.0
• Supports 20 languages

ThinkNavi T7 will be available in Europe bundled with maps for 45 countries.

Sony has introduced a new GPS model for the Japanese market called Sony NV-U3C. Like all the other Sony NV series devices it does split screen view, but unlike its US counterparts this model offers realistic street sign view, lane assistance, and a feature called PetaMap, which provides updates and sales info from local restaurants and stores. The device also features a 3.5" 4:3 QVGA screen, 4GB of internal memory, and offers three external colors to choose from: obnoxious pink, boring gray, and snow white.

Clarion introduced two new portable GPS navigation systems at CeBIT trade show today: the Clarion MAP 690 and Clarion MAP 790. The first model will be delivered with local maps, while the other will come with maps of 44 European countries.

The FineDrive iQ500 is a new all-in-one PNS available only in Korea. It can be used either as a GPS device or a PMP, and includes the following features:

Dmedia G5W is probably the first standalone GPS navigator to feature WiMAX support. At least we can't remember any. Availability and pricing details weren't announced yet. meanwhile check out some of the G5W's key features:

HKC Pearl is a new Android-powered GPS phone from China. It has some nice high-end features, and if you want, you can always choose WinMo 6.1 instead of Android as your OS. Don't expect it stateside, though.
