Altina A850 3D is a newly announced GPS navigator for China. It can render almost realistic images of roads with 3D buildings and can also display a traditional 2D map in half-screen.
The device comes with a SiRF Star III GPS chip and runs Windows CE.Net 5.0 OS. It also has a 4.3″ screen, SD/MMC card slot for media files, and the 1350mAh battery good for up to 4 hours. Unfortunately, this one probably won't appear stateside.

The new NDrive G800 is the first GPS navigator to use real photos for maps instead of traditional graphical images. Unfortunately, only users in the UK and Ireland will be able to take advantage of this feature. In rest, the device is a regular GPS with usual features, like a 4.3" TFT LCD touchscreen with a 480x272 resolution, audio/video playback, ...

Portable navigators from TG will be available for purchase in GS25 stores, according to the yesterday's announcement. In addition, 2 new models will be released in Korea, namely the TN1100RDT and the TN1100RSN. They are almost similar featuring GPS receiver, multimedia playback (music, video, TV), 7’’ touch screen, a 523MHz CPU, 4GB of internal memory expandable via the SD card slot (up to 32GB), karaoke function, TPEG system, and more. The prices are 399000Won (~€255) or 449000Won (~€287) depending on the model.

Novatel presents the new Ovation MC992D HSPA modem with GPS. This small USB device supports HSPA, WCDMA, EDGE and GPRS networks and is capable of providing high-speed Internet connectivity (up to 7.2 Mbps/down and 5.76 Mbps/up) almost anywhere in the world. It measures just 70×25x13.5 mm and integrates a GPS chip that makes retrieving location data and using GPS-based applications possible. The Ovation MC992D will be available through Novatel and its operator customers in Q3 2008.

T-Mobile now offers the GPS-enabled Blackberry 8820 smartphone from RIM, as part of its HotSpot @Home line-up. The device uses TeleNav GPS navigation software, and features Wi-Fi connectivity, but lacks a camera. You can get the handset  for $350 with a 2 year contract.

LongHorn GoGo800 is new entry-level GPS navigator with all the necessary features. Here's what it offers:

The U.S. or Europe launch date is unknown yet.

Korean manufacturer FineDrive has unveiled a new small DMB-enabled GPS navigator called CUVi. It weighs only 152 grams, comes with a 3.5″ screen, and like most GPS devices supports media playback besides integrated DMB receier. The base model costs 300,000 KRW ($305).

Getac PS535E is a fully rugged GPS-capable military Pocket PC based on Windows Mobile 5.0 platform. It has just passed the FCC, but I'm not sure it will be available for purchase.

Cowon has released a new GPS navigation system in Korea, called N3. This multifunctional device that provides real time traffic information, and features a 600Mhz AU1250 processor, a 7″ touch screen with 6 interface buttons to its right, DMB receiver for digital TV watching, and a multimedia player supporting various file formats. The price is 519000KRW ($550).
