Ricoh has recently launched their new Caplio GX100 compact digital camera with a removable electronic viewfinder and 24 to 72 mm wide zoom lens (35mm film equivalent) that can be expanded to ultra-wide-angle equivalent to 19 mm using an optional wide conversion lens.
Fujifilm FinePix S9600 is an entry-level D-SLR camera with a 9Mpix sensor. Its performance is quite slow: startup takes about 2 seconds, but after four shots in best-quality JPEG mode the camera runs out of buffer, and then it needs 10 seconds process the photos.
The release of the Pentax K10D dSLR camera can shatter Canon's and Nikon's leading positions. The K10D has several unique features the majors don't have like image stabilization with every lens, pro quality dust/weather/moisture seals, two RAW formats, and an automatic dust reduction/removal system - all that for a very reasonable price.
The new Casio EX-Z11 is a 2.6", 7.2Mpix digital camera made of stainless steel, that has a sleek design, weighs ~4 oz and packs a long-life Li-Ion battery. Max resolution for still images is of 3072x2304 and 640x480 for video.
The camera has Revive Shot function that gives the ability to increase color in old photos after shooting or importing them.
Nikon D40 is an SLR digital camera that allows for lens interchangeability, offers plenty of auto and manual-controlled image effect options, and doesn’t have that dreadful shutter lag. And with a 6 Mpix sensor it provides great image quality and print size potential.
The PowerShot A570 IS is a solid compact camera with very reasonable price. It has manual exposure controls, optical image stabilization, flash output control, and speedy performance. Image quality is great, especially at lower ISOs: colors are accurate, there is plenty of shadow detail, and the whole image turns out very sharp.
This camera uses AA batteries, so when you run out of power, you don't need to wait for charging.
The Nikon Coolpix L5 is a very sophisticated camera for beginner photographers. It has very limited manual control and slow overall performance. Somehow Nikon Coolpix L5 manages to combine a good amount of features in a relatively compact body. These features include D-Lighting exposure correction technology, a face-priority AF function, an in-camera red-eye function, Nikon's Best Shot Selector mode and one-touch portrait button.
The Kodak EasyShare V803 performs quite well, though it starts up very slowly. Noise and artifacts often spoil V803's pictures, softening and obscuring fine details. Images become covered with grain at settings as low as ISO 400, and only grow worse at higher ISO settings. If you don't plan to make very large photos, then you'd be better buy something like Canon's PowerShot A560. Its images are also noisy at high ISOs, but its controls are much easier and it starts quickly.

The device supports popular flash memory cards like SD, MMCM, memory stick (MSTM, MS Pro) and compact flash.
It is powered by a rechargeable battery. The PhotoFrame is available in a floral design and comes with four interchangeable frames.
