The Casio EX-Z9 EXilim Zoom will be available this month for $159.99.

Casio announced the release of the two new Exilim cameras, the EX-Z200 and EX-Z100. Both feature a 10.1Mpix CCD sensor, and 4x optical zoom with a 28-112mm lens ( F2.6-5.8 ). The EX-Z200 supports image stabilization and comes with 11.7MB of internal memory, while the EXZ100 lacks the image stabilizer system, but offers 12.1MB of on-board memory.

Casio added a new color to its Exilim Hi-ZOOM EX-V8 camera. It is now available in black and features a 8.1Mpix sensor, SD/SDHC card slot, 11.8MB of internal memory, ISO1600, records video in VGA using H.264 codec at 30fps, and weighs only 149 grams.

Casio Exilim EX-S880 is a great digicam capable of shooting superior quality photos in a large number of light conditions. It also has other strong points, like ultra-compact size, excellent build quality, cool design, impressive performance, affordable price, etc, which make it a serious competitor to some of the best products from other manufacturers.

Casio has released a firmware update for 10 of its Exilim cameras. It will fix the in-movie white balance system in EX-S880, EX-V8, EX-Z8, EX-Z12, EX-Z15, EX-Z77, and EX-Z1080 models, and will add support high capacity SDHC memory cards of more than 8GB to EX-Z5, EX-Z6, and EX-Z7 models. The update is available for download on the Casio support site. Just make sure you enter the correct serial number before proceeding.
