SanDisk iSSD - the smallest 64GB SSD to dateSanDisk has announced the integrated SSD (iSSD), which they claim to be the the smallest 64GB variant in the world. It will be integrated directly in mainboards, and is no larger than a post stamp. The memory capacity ranges from 4GB to 64GB, with read and write speeds going up to 160MB/s and 100MB/s, respectively.
 
Unfortunately, we can't say with certainty when the first devices incorporating this new chip will hit the market.

Digital News : SD memory cards to come in 2TB capacities!
 
altOn Wednesdy at CES 2009 the SD Association announced its new SDXC specification, which will allow for up to 2TB of storage capacity and read/write speeds up to 104MBps (with future expansion up to 300MBps) for SD memory cards! The new SDXC cards will use Microsoft’s exFAT file system and will be compatible with a wide range of PCs, consumer and mobile electronics. The first SDXC cards and devices supporting them will be available in late 2009 - early 2010.

Digital News : Toshiba to make 16GB microSDHC cards
 
altToshiba has announced today that starting January 2009 they'll begin producing 16GB microSDHC cards. In addition to that, the company will also make 8GB and 16GB SDHC cards starting next month. All the new memory cards will comply with the SD memory standard 2.00, and will support class 6 ultra fast read/write speed, delivering write speeds of up to 20MBps.

Digital News : Asus' Eee Top All-In-One Almost Here?
 
altAccording to IDG, ASUS will launch its Eee Top (ET1602 and ET1603) all-in-one desktop computer tomorrow. The device runs on Intel Atom 1.6Ghz processor, used mainly in netbooks, and is said to have a 15.6" display, a 160Gb HDD and an integrated webcam. We can also expect up to 2GB of RAM installed.

The expected price or the whole unit is $499.
