Cell Phones: NBC offers Full Mobile Versions of hit TV shows
NBC said that it would give customers the opportunity to purchase prime-time TV shows on demand to play on their cellphones. So far efforts for viewing TV and movies on cellphones have faltered, possibly due to the limited and short-length content out in the market today. As usual, NBC's hit shows like "The Office" and "Heroes" will be available through mobile multimedia pioneer MobiTV, and customers will be able to buy full-length episodes for $1.99 each up to 24 hours after the TV show airs. The main feature here will be the on-demand ability to let consumers pause and resume viewing later on.

Cell Phones: Skype demands wireless net neutrality
Skype - Voice over Internet Protocol Phone Company - addressed the
FCC to decide that there are rights for consumers to use Internet
communications software and to attach any devices they want to mobile
phone networks.
Skype’s petition is: “As the wireless market has matured and wireless
handsets have become an integral part of most Americans’ lives,
carriers are using their considerable influence over handset design and
usage to maintain control over and limit subscribers’ right to run
software communications applications of their choosing. Instead of
carrying the subscribers’ messages indifferent to content, carriers
have exerted more and more control over the way consumers access the
mobile Internet.”
