Camcorders: Hitachi DZ-BD70A and DZ-BD7HA Blu-ray Camcorders

Camcorders: The World's First Waterproof Camcorder from SANYO
The SANYO Xacti E1 is the world's first waterproof ultra-compact camcorder. This video camera is designed for active families, vacationers and water sports enthusiasts, and is able to capture high-quality videos and 6Mpix photos under water at a depth of 5 feet for up to an hour at a time.
The Glide Personal Digital Camcorder has a very portable design and uses memory chips to store videos. These memory chips can later be processed at most of retail stores for your personal viewing. Unfortunately, the Glide video camera will not be available to users for some time.
Camcorders: Panasonic HDC-DX3 Camcorder to be Available Soon
The new Panasonic HDC-DX3 camcorder will soon be available in Japan. It captures videos in full definition and stores them onto DVDs with a resolution of 1920x1080. The device comes in Silver color scheme.
Some of the key features:
- 3CCD chip,
- 12x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom,
- 2.1MPix still image camera,
- 3" monitor,
- Dolby Digital 5.1ch audio.
The Panasonic HDC-DX3 should be launched by April 25th.
Sanyo Xacti CG6 is a very compact digital still/video camera. It weighs less than 6 oz. and captures high quality images even in low-light conditions. The CG6 features an automatic frame-rate adjustment capability in "Lamp" mode for low-light capture and a blur correction system.
The camera has a 6 Mpix CCD with a 5x optical zoom lens and 2.5" display which can rotate up to 290 degrees. There is an SDHC-compatible SD card slot for expandable memory.
The SANYO Xacti CG6 should be available in the U.S. at end of March at a price of $329.99
Sanyo announced that their
SANYO Xacti CG65 Digital Video Camera will appear the U.S. in April. This is Sanyo's first camera that uses Advanced Video Codec H.264 (MPEG-4 AVC/H.264) video compression technology which reduces MPEG-4 file size by 25% w/o affecting video quality. CG65 features an integrated Gyro Sensor shake-resistant system and 9 Mpix mixture technology for high-speed video-processing.
You can even capture 6 Mpix still photos while recording a movie. Video files can be handled just like photo files. Saving videos and photos on a computer is as easy as copying a file.
Sanyo has recently released its new camcorder - Xacti DMX-CG65. Like all the latest Xacti shooters, this one also has a piston grip and is very compact.
The DMX-CG65 has a new high-precision LSI (large-scale integration) engine III and a large 2.5" LCD display with 110,000 total pixels. The camcorder has a 6 Mpix resolution and is able to achieve real-time MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 compression and noise reduction. It will be available in colors (Silver, Green and Black) from April 2007.
