New Hybrid Full HD Camcorder from Hitachi

Hitachi has introduced today its latest Full HD camcorder, the Woo DZ-BD10H. It should become available in Japan starting August 9, and will be retailing for $1500 a piece.

Hitachi Woo DZ-BD10H features:

- Recording on 8cm Blu-ray discs (BD-R/RE) and DVD (DVD-R/RW/RAM)
- Integrated HDD (30GB) that can hold 4.5 hours of video in Full HD
- Support for recording in AVCHD
- SD and SDHC cards support
- 7Mpix CMOS sensor
- 10x optical zoom
- ports: HDMI, USB, component
- 2.7" LCD display
