SSDs don’t save power

SSDs don’t save powerWow, who could have thought! Tom’s Hardware's test results indicate that SSD drives don't actually save you any energy. If we judge logically, they don't have moving parts  - thus they must be more power efficient. But they're not... SSDs still consume too much power while in the idle mode. Plus, they don't boost the performance - contrary to what we originally thought.

We don't say that SSD's suck, they just need to be further worked on. Just remember that SSD's don't influence performance, and consume as much energy as a standard HDD.
