Toshiba announced its latest
Qosmio G45-AV690
mid-range gaming laptop at CES, the world's first notebook with an
HD-DVD-R/RW optical drive. In addition, five HD blockbuster movies were
thrown in for good measure. The notebook is available in a piano
key-white finish and has the following configuration:
- CPU: Intel Core2Duo T9300 processor, 2.5GHz, 6MB L2 cache, 800MHz FSB
- Memory: 3GB of PC2-5300 DDR2 with support for up to 4GB
- Storage: 320GB via two SATA HDDs running at 5400rpm
- Optical Drive: HD DVD-R/RW (Single Layer)/DVD SuperMulti (+/- double layer) drive (in one optical drive) supporting 14 formats
