Sony has added a new device to their UX line of UMPCs, the
UX490. It comes with several new upgrades over the previous models, which include:
- Windows Vista Business OS
- Intel Core 2 Solo CPU at 1.2GHz
- 48GB SSD (probably that's why the device is so expensive)
- Bluetooth GPS receiver (included)
- EDGE connectivity (Wi-Fi or 3G would be much more likely)
The device is quite pricey. It costs $2,499 and will be available starting next week.
