JVC is back in the GPS market with its two new
KV-PX701 and
KV-PX501 sat-navs.
The
KV-PX701 comes with a wide
4.3" touch-screen, operates on a 400Mhz CPU, and uses the SiRF Star III
and RDS/TMC receivers. Included Navteq maps provide coverage for the
whole Europe. The price is €400.
The
KV-PX501 has a 3.5" display
and uses Media Tec’s GPS receiver. An external RDS/TMC receiver is also
included in the package. This model will cost €350.
Both devices will be available in Octomber in Europe.
