Satmap is a new rugged portable GPS navigator soon to be released in the UK. There is not much info about the device at the moment, but we know that it will have a 3.5" hi-res display, SD card slot, preloaded UK maps from OS (Ordinance Survey), and extended battery life. The Satmap is scheduled for release this month at a price of GBP300. Additionally, there will be more than 100 cards with maps covering National Parks, National Trails, UK regions and UK counties available shortly after the release with other countries' maps to follow.
