Garmin introduced two new widescreen models in their nuvi series of GPS devices, the
nuvi 200W and
nuvi 250W.
The 200W is an entry-level model featuring maps of US (including Hawaii) and Puerty Rico, and will also be available in region-specific models for Europe/Australia/NZ/Mexico and Brazil. The 250W model also comes with Canada maps. There are over 6 million POIs available. Also provided maps can now be supplemented with info like school and speed-cam zones.
Both navigators feature 4.3" wide touchscreens with a resolution of 480x272 pixels, turn-by-turn voice directions, and Garmin Lock for better security.
The nuvi 200W costs $499.99 and the nuvi 250W is prised at $549.99
