Toshiba Dynabook SS RX1 Laptop

Toshiba has introduced their new Dynabook SS RX1 laptop. It is only 19.5mm thick and comes in a shiny magnesium casing. There are three configurations of the RX1 available: 80GB HDD/DVD writer, 80GB HDD/HD-DVD drive and 64GB SSD/DVD writer.

Other specs of the Dynabook SS RX1 include:

- 12.1" (1280 x 800) WXGA TFT LCD display
- Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 (1.06GHz) processor
- 1GB of RAM
- Fingerprint scanner
- Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity
- SD card slot
etc.

The Toshiba Dynabook SS RX1 will be available in Japan starting late June at a price of $1800 and $2054 respectively for the first two models and the SSD-based model will appear in July costing $3125.
