Apple MacBook Pro Updated

 

Apple MacBook Pro UpdatedApple has updated their MacBook Pro series of laptops. Now they feature a new lightweight 1" thin aluminum casing, the latest Intel Core 2 Duo CPUs and up to 4GB of RAM.
The new notebook is available in 15" models with mercury-free, power-saving LED-backlit display and a 17" model featuring an optional hi-res display.

Common features of all MacBook Pro models include:

- RAM: 2GB of 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, expandable to 4GB
- HDD: 160GB Serial ATA, 5400 rpm
- Optical drive: double-layer DVD+/-RW
- Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT
- DVI-out port for external display (VGA-out adapter included, Composite/S-Video out adapter sold separately)
- Built-in Dual Link support for driving Apple 30" Cinema HD Display
- Built-in iSight video camera
- LAN: Gigabit Ethernet
- Wireless connectivity: Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR;
- ExpressCard/34 expansion card slot
- Ports: USB 2.0, FireWire 800/400, audio line in and headphone out, with optical digital audio support
- Scrolling TrackPad and illuminated keyboard
- Infrared Apple Remote
- 85W Apple MagSafe Power Adapter

2.2 GHz, 15" MacBook Pro: $1,999
2.4 GHz, 15" MacBook Pro: $2,499
