Palm has just introduced a new email and browsing device, an addition to their Treo smartphone line-up.
The new
Foleo looks like a laptop and runs on Linux OS. Apart from email application and browser, it also features basic Word, Excel and PowerPoint editing. The device comes equipped with a 10" display, full QWERTY keyboard and weighs 2.5 pounds. It has Bluetooth support and Wi-Fi for Internet access. The battery is good for 5 hours.
The device can sync with both Palm- and Windows Mobile-based Treos. Other devices running on Windows Mobile are also supported. The price for Palm Foleo is $500.
