Intel’s new Mobile Metro Notebook concept is most likely the thinnest laptop to date. Having only 0.7" thick and 2.25 pounds in weight, it features the new Intel Penryn super-efficient CPU.
The notebook's design was created by Ziba Design. It comes in a magnetically-attached portfolio sheath with built-in e-ink display. This computer uses Flash memory storage and Penryn’s power-management technology. The battery is good for up to 14 hours. Connectivity here is represented by Wi-Fi, EV-DO and WiMax chips. Security issues include fingerprint scanner and remote hard-drive eraser.
According to Intel and Ziba the price for this beauty will be really high, still, they will surely find a market.
