The Fujifilm FinePix F40fd is a 8Mpix digital camera, that delivers fast performance and great image quality in a very wide range of situations. It features a scene mode, that allows you to preview the photo in cases when you don't want to use the flash in the low light. The focusing is really fast and there is a focus assist lamp, which activates in the dark. Image size range is good, but there is no 16:9 wide-aspect ratio mode. There are also very few options to customize the photos in-camera, many controls are lacking.
