
Samsung released the new Q1 Ultra, an update from the Q1P Ultra-Mobile PC. There will be four models available: “Good”, “Better”, “Best” and “SSD” versions.
All versions will feature:
- Large 7" WSVGA display
- Intel Ultra Mobile Processor A100 chip
- Intel GAM 950 graphics
- 1GB of RAM
- Wi-Fi 802.11B/g
- Bluetooth 2.0
- Webcam
- 1.3Mpix camera
- Integrated speakers
- Memory card readers.
The "Good" version will be priced at $999 and will feature a 40GB hard drive with a 600MHz processor that will run Windows XP Tablet.
The "Better" version will cost $1,199. It features a larger 60GB hard drive and a faster 800MHz processor which runs Windows Vista Home Premium.
The "Best" version, priced at $1,499 gets a 80GB hard drive and an 800MHz processor with HSDPA mobile broadband running Windows Vista Home Premium.
The "SSD", priced at $1,999 will feature a 32 Solid State Drive to deliver fast system and program bootups, a 800MHz processor and HSDPA connectivity running Windows Vista Home Premium.
The "Good" and "Better" models will be available in May, and the other two will be launched in July or August.
