Creative Zen vs. iPod Shuffle

The new Creative Zen Stone MP3 player will probably be the main competitor of the iPod's screenless Shuffle.

The Zen Stone measures 2.1" x 1.4" x 0.5" and comes in black, red, pink, blue, yellow, and white colors. It feautures a standard 3.5mm headphone jack and a mini USB port. The player is UMS-compliant and can transfer MP3, WMA, and WMA-DRM9 files by simply using drag-and-drop option. The Zen Stone is only available in 1GB memory capacity.

The price of $40 should be Zen's main advantage over the Shuffle. Its release is scheduled for May 14th.
