Mio introduced a new GPS navigator with a DMB receiver for TV watching and even recording.
The new Mio C317 is equipped with a large 4.3" screen and features a SiRF Star III GPS receiver for navigation. The device uses PIP (picture in picture) technology, so you can view TV shows while navigating. There is no HDD on board so you will have to use high capacity SD/MMC cards (that support up to 8GB) to rip TV shows.
Mio C317 is powered by a 2100mAh battery that lasts for around 5.5 hours for navigation, and 4 hours for TV watching.
On Amazon you can find Mio C310x, Mio H610, Mio P550, Mio C220, Mio C710, and Mio 269. No info on whether C317 will appear in North America or Europe.
