Fujifilm
FinePix S9600 is an entry-level D-SLR camera with a 9Mpix sensor. Its
performance is quite slow: startup takes about 2 seconds, but after
four shots in best-quality JPEG mode the camera runs out of buffer, and
then it needs 10 seconds process the photos.
The price of $749 is too high for an entry-level D-SLR. Put another
$200 above that and you can purchase a true D-SLR camera such as Nikon
D40. Despite that it has a 6Mpix sensor, it offers much faster
performance and better image quality.
