Yesterday Fujitsu announced an upgrade for its LifeBook P1610 and LifeBook B6210 ultra-portable notebooks. These laptops will use NAND flash-based substitution for conventional HDDs, an alternative for a solid-state drive (SSD).
To protect laptops from damage Fujitsu has also introduced a 4" thick flexible rugged case that also provides access to all ports. This case will be available for $139. SSD for the LifeBook P1610 and B6210 notebooks will have 16 GB and 32 GB storage capacities.
