You can enter words directly or simply use hierarchical menus to choose from almost 12.000 common phrases. The device can speak up to 450,000 words. Among other features there is an MP3 player, an alarm clock, a calculator, a lottery-number generator and a built-in microphone for those who wish to practice pronuncation. Despite that interface of the device has improved much, buttons are still very small and reading glasses may be needed.
