Flash Memory in Apple's Mini-Notebooks

 

It is possible that Apple will use NAND flash memory in their laptop computers later this year. This technology will also be implemented in Apple's sub-notebook computers. Flash memory has many benefits in comparison with hard-disk drives: it is lighter, more compact, provides faster computer boot-up and consumes less power.
